Some situations require immediate action. A person is in imminent suicide risk if she or he
- tells you they plan to end their life
- cannot guarantee their own safety
- is at risk and under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- tells you they have recently taken an overdose or made some other suicide gesture

Call the Lincoln Department of Public Safety at (573) 681-5555 or dial 911 to reach the Jefferson City Police Department.
Take the person directly to the St. Mary's Health Center at 100 St. Mary's Plaza.
